I started this blog in 2011, soon after retiring and finally having time to a) travel for more than a few weeks at a time, and also b) write about the journeys, the quirks and the people. The journey above took three months and I embarked on it (without going home first) when I got off the plane in Heathrow after spending a month in Australia. So, on the road for four months altogether – I would recommend it.

I haven’t blogged about every trip since, but I wish I had in order to have a record for myself. However, the major ones of the last five years are there – so please take a look.
